The Light Sculpture by Paul Sable Snibbe

I have tried to duplicate the colors and patterns I see when in silent contemplation.. I have been told by Psychics that I “have the ability to channel divine light through geometric forms,” and believe that my Crystal Obelisks contain a perceivable Higher Presence that many people can feel. “ ~ Paul Sable Paul Sable Snibbe was born in New York, where he was classically trained in fine art at the Art Students League, Music and Art High School, the New School and graduated with a BFA from Antioch College. You See What I Did There? by John Hageman, Jr.
KALEID Gallery presents You See What I Did There? new works by John Hageman, Jr. “Lately I have been making work with a lot pop culture references. With this show, I wanted to focus on creating more original pieces using my signature color and humor. I have challenged myself in scale and attempted tiny experiments in color. Not that you would notice… or maybe you did. The work before you on the treated dry wall, is a collection of non sequitur thoughts regarding everything from my lack of sleep to a spirited discussion on current affairs. I have a friend coming to play some songs on his guitar his name is Muffin.” ~ John Hageman, Jr. Artist Reception: Aug. 5th, 7pm–11pm part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk in downtown San Jose. Free & open to the public. Exhibition dates: Aug. 5–26, 2016 TO VIEW AVAILABLE WORKS ONLINE Click…

Memories on Journals by Gianfranco Paolozzi
KALEID Gallery presents Memories on Journals a new feature exhibition for the month of May by Gianfranco Paolozzi. Memories on Journals by Gianfranco Paolozzi These pieces are considered “journals” because they are never finished until they are sold. In this way, Paolozzi’s work is ever-evolving… until it is yours; once you have it, it is completely evolved…or…back in the studio they go where they continue to be added to or edited. The works also have no “correct” top, bottom or sides when it comes to hanging the work. Paolozzi designed the frame with hardware so the collector can hang a piece in any orientation they’d like. Use your imagination. Artist Reception: May 6th, 7pm–11pm part of the South FIRST FRIDAYS Art Walk in downtown San Jose. Free & open to the public.
